Travel restrictions
EU / Schengen residents
The European Commission has published details of the Digital Green Certificate and you can read the information here. This allows entry to people who have received the EU-approved vaccines (currently Pfizer, BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson) or who have proof of a recent negative test or who have proof of recovery from COVID19 within a specified timeframe.
Non-EU / Schengen residents
Vaccinated people from OECD countries and yellow-status third countries, can enter Denmark if they can document that they have been vaccinated with an EU approved vaccine (currently Pfizer, BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson) and that 14 days have passed since the last dose.
Staying safe at Copenhagen 2021
The last eighteen months have been tough for everyone, and while we come together in Scandinavia to advocate for change, compete in EuroGames, enjoy concerts, explore culture and participate in the seventh WorldPride, we must all remember that COVID19 continues to present a risk to everyone.
There are simple steps we can all take to protect ourselves and each other.
Keep distance
Even if you are fully vaccinated, remember that other people may prefer to maintain a distance. Please respect other people’s needs.
Hygiene
Avoid touching your face and mouth and remember to wash and sanitise your hands regularly. You will find hand-washing facilities and hand sanitiser at all our venues.
Wear a mask
You should wear a mask if this makes you feel more comfortable, and anywhere that masks are required. In Copenhagen masks are required when entering and exiting public transportation and if standing during transportation. You are not required to wear a mask at our venues but you are welcome to do so.
Feeling unwell
If you feel unwell or think you may have been exposed to someone who has COVID19, please isolate immediately and take a test. Tests are free and some test centres are open 24 hours.
Coronapas (corona passport)
Coronapas is the Danish proof of vaccine, recovery from COVID19 in the last 12 months, or of a negative PCR test no more than 96 hours old. It is part of the EU Covid Digital Certificate.
You need a Coronapas – or equivalent issued by a competent national authority in your own country – to use many services including inside seating in restaurants and bars, and at many of our venues including our conferences, cultural events, and concerts.
If your country’s proof is not accepted, remember that you can take a free PCR test in Copenhagen which will give you valid proof for 96 hours from the time you took the test.
Please respect venue staff and Includers and do not attempt to enter a venue without the required proof.
Frequent testing
Antigen testing is recommended upon arrival in Denmark from abroad and can in some cases be mandatory. Regular antigen testing is also recommended when you participate in large events.
