The Tennis tournament will take place from Tuesday 17 to Friday 20 August 2021 at Per Henrik Lings Allé 10 in Copenhagen near Østerbro Stadion.

The tournament is sanctioned by GLTA, and you therefore need a GLTA ID when you register. If you do not have one, you can create it here.

The Tennis tournament will be offered in the following categories:

  • Men Single
  • Men Single 40+
  • Men Double
  • Women Single
  • Women Single 40+
  • Women Double
  • Non-binary Single
  • Non-binary 40+
  • Non-binary Double
  • Mix

In Single, you can participate as male-identified, female-identified or non-binary. In the Double discipline, you can participate as male/male, female/female or non-binary/non-binary. In the Mix discipline, you will be able to participate as an all-gender couple.

It is possible to register for the tournament as a pair or with no partner. If you register as “no partner”, we will help you find one.

The Tennis tournament will be judged according to the rules of the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance. You can find them here.

The tournament format will be Two (2) Tiebreaks sets and a Match Tiebreak (10) in place of a third set.

The participation fee for EGLSF members is €90, and for non-members €120. 

When you sign up as an athlete for EuroGames 2021, you will enjoy the broad benefits of participation in the whole of Copenhagen 2021, including

If not enough participants sign up in your category (identity, level and ranking etc.) we will offer you the opportunity to participate in another category, another sport or offer a full refund. 


The Tennis tournament will take place at Per Henrik Lings Allé 10 in Copenhagen. The facilities are close to Øbro Hallen where Artistic Swimming and Diving will take place and Østerbro Stadion where the Track & Field and Dodgeball competition will take place. In the neighbourhood, you will find a large, public park called Fælledparken, lots of cafés, restaurants, and shopping options.


Copenhagen 2021 is organising the tournament in cooperation with the Danish Tennis Association.
