The pre-summit takes place at WorldPride House in Malmö on August 19th and provides an opportunity to deepen one’s knowledge and awareness of the topics to be discussed at the Summit on Refugees, Borders and Immigration on the 20th of August at the same location. The focus on all events during the pre-summit will be to raise awareness of the often sidelined topics relating to the intersectional needs and vulnerabilities of LGBTI+ refugees and forcibly displaced people. It will also discuss how we envision just and representative policy moving forward in this field.
