START, a new film launched today by Copenhagen 2021, shines an exciting light on LGBTI+ people in Copenhagen and Malmö.

The film depicts the range and scale of events taking place in Copenhagen and Malmö in August when the cities host WorldPride and EuroGames. Participants in the film are all members of the LGBTI+ community in the cities, each taking part in an activity that they enjoy and which will feature during the Copenhagen 2021 event.

“We are now only ten months until Copenhagen 2021 becomes the set-piece LGBTI+ event of the year, and the biggest ever held in Scandinavia,” said Steve Taylor, Director of Communications. “Whilst COVID19 is forcing us to keep a close eye on our plans, and adapt where necessary, we’ll be delivering an incredible event focused on equality, sport, human rights, love and diversity, where everyone is included.”
