1000-1700: Us and Them – an Exhibition on Hate Crimes, Location: Malmö Museer (12-11 Aug). Someone commits a crime against one or more people, simply because of the victims’ sexual orientation, religion, or ethnic background. Hatred, fear or prejudice are behind it. Such crimes are called hate crimes. Come visit an exhibition that will hit you right in the heart and invite you to think, feel and reflect.

1600-1900: Exhibition: In Character, Location: Moderna museet, Malmö. Going to exhibition in character – a performative workshop with artists Ruby Nilsson and Klara Utke Acs in collaboration with Index-The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation. For ages 15-21 years.

1700-1800: Copenhagen, Gay Capital of Iceland? Location: Nordatlantens Brygge, Copenhagen. In the mid and late 20th century many gay men, lesbians and other queer people left Iceland and moved to Copenhagen. Lecture by Ásta Kristín Benediktsdóttir.

1900 Moriskan Gayme night, Location: Moriskan, Malmö. Sharday and Niki Banana are here for your entertainment, celebrating WorldPride like no other with a spectacular musical quiz! Join these fabulous Queens on a liberating Musical Quiz Adventure. They make the rules and you play the game! Do you wanna be on top?

1900-2030: Why does no one love the lesbians?, Location: Intiman, Malmö (13-21 Aug). Welcome to a newly written humorous odyssey in a lesbian universe! With warmth and comedy, we explore the ups and downs, the pleasure and anguish of lesbianism. There will be sweat, tears and secretions, grand entrances and lovesick scenes.

1900-2200: Music in the Colours of the Rainbow, Location: The Opera House, Store Scene, Copenhagen. A tribute to Copenhagen 2021, the world’s LGBTI+ communities and the concert’s contributing composers who, despite oppression and adversity, commanded the will and wherewithal to make their music spring to life. The four embracing composers of this colourful WorldPride concert have all experienced what it means to be different, either due to their gender or sexuality. A concert of musical pieces that speak to the heart – from composers who managed to express through their music what they could not say out loud in their day and age.

Volunteer with us!

Our theme is #YouAreIncluded and our volunteers are called Includers.

Whatever your skills and experience, we have a role for you. It could be in one of our bars, helping guests, registering athletes, or working in our communicaitons centre.

Roles are available in Copenhagen or Malmö throughout the event, and all we ask is for a minimum of 12 hours help. In return we promise free merchandise, meals and refreshments, and the opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills!
