Current roles

We’re currently recruiting long-term volunteers to fill the following roles. If these roles don’t suit your skills and interests, check back regularly for new roles or visit this page to find out how to get in touch about volunteering.

Communications Team: App Editor

Our smartphone app will be the number one resource for people to plan their visit to Copenhagen 2021, and then to find their way around once they’re here. Built on the Greencopper platform, the app includes comprehensive event information, together with local guides, speaker and athlete profiles, and ads and promotions for our partners and sponsors.

We’re looking for a reliable and skilled App Editor to support our Communications Team in ensuring the app is up to date and providing accurate and high-quality information for our visitors. You’ll receive content and revisions from members of our team and will implement these in the app, always in accordance with our style and brand guidelines.

You are:

  • Strongly committed to LGBTI+ equality and human rights
  • Experienced in copywriting and editing for online platforms
  • Familiar with HTML and basic web design skills
  • Fluent in English (essential) and either French, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish or Swedish (desirable)
  • Able to access your own computer and reliable internet access
  • Available for 4-5 hours per week until July 2021; the hours can be at times to suit you

This is an unpaid volunteer role but one that will give you skills and experience of working on a major LGBTI+ event. If you are able to attend Copenhagen 2021, you will have the opportunity to take part as a volunteer and enjoy the privileges that come with such a role.

This role is suitable for remote working so you don’t need to be based in Copenhagen or Malmö.

To apply, please send your resumé with a short statement on why you’d like to join the Copenhagen 2021 team, to communication@copenhagen2021.com. The closing date is Friday 29 January.
