Venue

The Diving tournament will take place at Øbro Hallen in Copenhagen. Øbro Hallen was the first public swimming pool in Denmark and contains a lot of history with its 90 years of existence. The venue was renovated back in 2002 but kept in the original neoclassicism design and architecture.

The venue contains a combined 25-metre swimming and diving pool. It has 1 x 1 metre and 1 x 3 metre diving boards and platforms at 5 metre and 10 metre. The diving boards are of type Duraflex 16′ and the platforms are wood with mats on them. Access to the platforms is on ladders. Unfortunately, there is no 7½ metre platform. No dryland training is available, but warming up can be done in the pools gallery. Øbro Hallen has a great relaxing wellness area, which you can use against payment. It contains a spa pool, roman steam bath, lightroom, infrared sauna and much more.

The Artistic Swimming competition will as well take place at Øbro Hallen on the same day. Next to Øbro Hallen, you will find Østerbro Stadion where Track & Field and Dodgeball tournament will take place. In the neighbourhood, you will also find a large, public park called Fælledparken, lots of cafés, restaurants, and shopping options.

Organisers

Copenhagen 2021 is organising the tournament in cooperation with the Danish Swimming Federation.
