There are different opportunities to help as a volunteer. Some are long-term volunteers while other is short-term volunteer. At our rolecatalogue (will be published in August 2020) you can read more about opportunities available – note that, more will come as we come closer to the event.

Common to long-term volunteers is that they have a greater responsibility for a given area or group. They are the project manager’s extended arm during the event and they will be the key that everything goes as planned. By assuming these roles, it is expected that you will be able to maintain the overview, communicate accurately, positively and respectfully, and not least make decisions. You are involved in the planning and you will be the project manager’s extended arm during the event, and the person to volunteer if any questions arise along the way.
If you want a long-term position, please send resume and a brief description of your wishes to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then contact you and discuss the possibilities.
NB! We cannot guarantee that you will be given a position as a long-term.
Most of the short-term roles will be executed during the event between the 12th of August and the 22nd of August. Short-term task can e.g. be on the sales team, hosts, barcenter, moving fences, setting up stages, guidance, catering etc. As a starting point, we have an approach, where we believe that volunteers can handle the tasks for which they are signing up. However, there will be cases and tasks where we are going to customize, select and interview in advance. When this happens, then of course we are clear about the process in advance and it always happens with the respect of the individual.
If you are a larger group that wants to work together on a particular area, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Nicolai Kehling // email@example.com and we will find a good solution.
